Meet the Instructor
Grace Lee, Violinist and Music Instructor
Grace Lee learned the piano from her mother’s lap and was introduced to the violin at the age of eight and cello, from the age of ten. She played all three instruments through her grade school years, then chose her violin as her main instrument through her years at Boise State University studying music under the instruction of Mr. Craig Purdy.
Her violin is her voice of joy but her main passion is teaching. February 2019 will mark the beginning of her 15 th year of teaching private music lessons. She has led beginning orchestra classes for Sonshine Korean Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada and conducted small ensemble projects throughout her career. She is currently working with Idaho Rhythm School of Music and Dance to bring orchestra classes to the community.
When she's not going crazy concocting schemes to help students learn music better, she loves to being a Pinterest mommy and can be found posting her successes and failures on Facebook. When she's not doing that, she is bonding with her daughter and pretending to do housework.
She is married to John Lee, an amazing husband and and was gifted two beautiful little girls, Faith and Joy Lee.
If there is one thing she wants to tell the people she meets,it's that "God may not be visible, but He is there. The foundation and purpose for all that we do. And through Him and for Him, we are masterpieces. It's why I pursue music and teaching others to play. To give God glory through the gifts He gives us."
